Following on from the last East Anglia Potato Day event in 2025. We are delighted to announce that once again, Otley College, will be our hosts. 2026 will be our 4th year of staging East Anglia Potato Day, at Otley College, which is, a most enjoyable venue.
Once again, a huge thank you to the many volunteers and organizers, that give up their time, and hard work, to make the event, a real success. We really could not stage East Anglia Potato Day without you. A big thank you, to our potato seed tuber suppliers, that continue to provide the event with highest quality certified Class 1 Scottish seed potato tubers. Last, but, by no means least, a big thank you, our customers, the public, and all that attended East Anglia Potato Day, and supported the event with your custom. You are the people that make the day, what it is. The event would not run, without you, and your kind support. Thank you.

Building on the success of this East Anglia Potato Day 2025 we will hope to bring you (for 2026 event) a total of at least 42 varieties of seed Potato tubers, with many varieties classed as organic. We also offer heritage seed Potato tubers on the day.

2024 saw a warm welcome, once again, to one of the most well known, and highly respected, authorities within the world of Potatoes, Mr Alan Romans. Author of “The Potato Book” Mr Romans gave us an insight to his wealth of knowledge, with a fascinating and absorbing talk, entitled “Amateur Potato Breeding”. It was a real treat, to have Mr Romans’ presence on the day. Thank you.

The East Anglia Potato Day is an annual event that has been running since 1996.

It is organised and run entirely by volunteers from three organic gardening groups:

Norfolk Organic Group
Suffolk Organic Gardeners
Ipswich Organic Gardeners, Group.

Approximately 40 different varieties of seed potatoes are available. They are sold as individual tubers, so that you can buy as many or as few as you require.

We also aim to offer as many organic varieties as possible, usually about 25% of the overall total.
